PA600 Sequencer Bug Reproducable

Post by Gordon3k1 »

Hi had this problem for about 3 hours now
when in sequencer after loading midi file while sequencer is playing I select new voice for any track (random) and cannot return to sequencer (buttons lock up )
The problem can sometimes be resolved by pressing sound edit button (randomly responsive) then sequencer button and editing can continue with working save and no data lost.

If required I can provide a video of bug ? but it happens quite consistently
I don't know if there is a planned maintenance release of the OS but this problem should be addressed as a matter of some urgency as it's an obvious and rather frustrating bug.

Does this occur with any midi file or just one? Do the midi files have SYSEX messages in them?

Could you send me the midi file that causes this? I can not replicate your problem on my machine with any midi I have.

You might want to try a system restore just in case the OS got corrupted somehow.

Just for grins, next time it locks up try this. Press and hold the SHIFT key and then press START/STOP
