Hi there,
I think I may be missing something simple here regarding the syncing of the device,(NanoPad2) to my DAW, (Reaper) though I'd imagine all DAWs require the same settings.
I realize there are a lot of posts in this section but I couldn't find one that directly relates to my issue other than one user who didn't seem to get a reply; they may well have figured it out.
I can use the NanoPad2 fine in my DAW, it triggers all the samples, the key range / scale all calibrate correctly but the arpegiator always remains @ 120bpm - the default.
In the editor I write the new temp or change the midi clock to external, (i.e DAW) and then when I start using it in my DAW the device, (NanoPad2's) gate / arp function no longer flickers as it does in its default mode in time with the DAW's tempo.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I looked so hard for an answer to this question that I started finding my own posts on google - in case you are using Reaper and you have this problem I think I've got it sorted - well at least a work around and in case it messes up again I'll come back here and check my own notes.
Enable midi output to the device in Reaper - the arp will stop flashing until you press play.
In the korg editor write to external device in preferences.
I'm pretty sure that's why its working now.
