MIDI Control & Record

Hey guys,

Need help for something i've been up to.
Ive been messing around with the built in sequencer and have had fun with it..

I've decided to move on and start using a DAW on my laptop. Ive been using Ableton Live 8 on my previous keyboard so connecting the krome to my laptop is something new for me.

Can someone provide me with a step by step guide to connect the Krome to Ableton so that i have full MIDI control and recording capabilities?

BTW, im intending to use USB connection

Hi there it should be rather simple to connect first thing you need to do is get the drivers from Korg.com they are under the krome's support section one you download them to your computer go to the next step plug in your USB cord to the krome, plug the other side to your comp, turn on your krome and let your computer find it. Once you do that you can start ableton, go into the preferences or options tab and change your midi input controls you should see the krome pop up in your selections. After you do this your ready to use krome to control ableton. Good luck!!!

OH I forgot if you wanna use your krome to trigger ableton via play,rec Etc. you need to choose it in your external sync category in the input section.
