Hi all..
I have two triton studio 61's which I use for live performances and they are fantastic.
I have a lot of custom sounds on both tritons which I use and keep them on the screen (in audition mode), so I can change quickly between them.
First of all, is there a way to set up both tritons in a way that when I change a patch on the 1st triton by tapping on the screen, it will also change the patch on the 2nd triton too automatically?
Lastly, when I transpose the 1st triton up or down, can it also transpose the 2nd triton at the same time?
Are these possible to do via Midi, if so, how? It would make my life so much easier on stage and a lot less time consuming!
I'd appreciate any help.. thanks!

Niks,
If it were me I would build from scratch a bank of song specific set-ups.
One board (bottom) to be controller and the other slaved.
All controlling signals would be sent by one board only.
I would set up - for each song - the top keyboard's complimentary voice; i.e., Organ on bottom with Brass above, or Piano with Strings above. You might have duplicates - perhaps several - but you've got room for them.
So for any song on your set-list, up to 128 of 'em, you can have one button push (sic) pull up the appropriate dual keyboard set-up.
[If you use a librarian you can pretty easily put them in alphabetical order. You can also use numbers at the front of the name to keep them in order within the bank if your sets are more established (same every time) or if you're following music cues for a show]
Then I would use the Global MIDI filter on the top keyboard to exclude all but the patch select data. That way low sets up high without actually playing it.

Hi Bill..
I have just recently tried doing this setup but im not getting anywhere..
(using 2 triton studios)
So I want to use the top keyboard as a master to control the program change on the bottom keyboard.
Heres an example...
Right now I play bass/chords (split) on the bottom keyboard and chorus/strings (split) on the top keyboard.. all this via just audio, so i have to change the presets on both keyboards manually.
Top keyboard = (PRESET 000) - Timbre 1 (chorus) / Timbre 2 (strings) - (PRESET 001) - Timbre 1 (funky guitar) / Timbre 2 (blue guitar).. and so on...
Bottom keyboard = (PRESET 000) - Timbre 1 (bass) / Timbre 2 (chords) - (PRESET 001) - Timbre 1 (bass) / Timbre 2 (chords).. and so on...
How do i exactly set this up via midi so that when i change a preset (in combi), it will change the bottom preset on the bottom keyboard too?
I tried doing this by taking the midi in from the top keyboard to the midi out of the bottom keyboard. When I play it, the bottom keyboard just basically duplicates the top keybaord and i get all the same sounds. The preset name on the top keyboard now shows up on the bottom keyboard too!
Ive tried reversing the midi ports (now midi out (top keys) to midi in (bottom keys), and it still does the same thing.
Really need some help here

OK. Try this. Set the midi filter under the Global menu (on both keyboards) to send and receive only patch (program select) and not note on/off.
The functions you're trying to control (or not) are selected or deselected based on your preferences using the MIDI Filter. That should be a series of tic boxes under this menu. You have to access it using the page function once you've selected Global using the dedicated button.
That should set up a network of 2 where only the patch number and bank data is sent via midi. The cabling you've described sounds like it's correct.
By the way, this set-up should not send or set up an identical bank between top and bottom -- I've no clue what could be happening there to make your preset timbres change unless you're accessing some sort of save or load function as part of what you're doing.
It should just mirror the bank/patch selection [i.e., Combi A-000 controller selects Combi A-000 slave] unless you are accidentally doing a data transfer.
