Ha...no worries.Sharp wrote:Yes, delete those two. I did something stupid. The "part07 1" and "part07 2" files disappeared from the server so I'm guessing I should delete those from my hard drive?![]()
Number 8 is online now, 9 and 10 on the way.

where to get/buy D50 sounds for the Kronos ?

Everything is on my SkyDrive now.
I highly recommend people use the SkyDrive to get the data rather than my server directly. Microsoft simply have infinitely more bandwidth to deal with number of people downloading this.
Enjoy.

Thanks.Ojustaboo wrote:Very nicely done.
It's a shame the after touch effects don't work though, I remember my awe at first experiencing after touch with my D50.
I'd have to go back to the D50 to check what sort of influence the aftertouch slider has on the sounds. I actually have the slider turned down to off by default. More of a precaution when sampling and triggering notes remotely. I didn't want to risk picking up something in a recording a didn't want.
That being said, if it does something nice, it's only a matter of simulating it and releasing a PCG file. Leave it with me, I'll certainly take a look.

It could well be a nostalgia thing where it's not as great as I rememberSharp wrote:Thanks.Ojustaboo wrote:Very nicely done.

I bought a D50 at release the same time as a friend who I used to bump into at the pub every Friday night. I knew nothing about after touch and as usual hadn't read the manual.
We were talking after about a month of ownership when he said something along the lines of "dont you love the aftertouch effects when you hold the key down hard on ..."
I said "what?"
Following day I enabled aftertouch and I remember it being like an entirely different synth, but time can make things seem greater than they were

Hi Synthee.
You need to load the PCG and KSC file that has the words “user bank” in their title. These two files are for streaming the content and will use only 244MB of RAM.
The PCG and KSC called D50 that do not say “user bank” in their title are only for advance users who want to edit the sample data I created.

I will check it out tomorrow and see what sort of effect there is.
I'm cursed with a memory that doesn't allow me to forget much at all, so I remember my first time seeing a D50. I was 12 years old and the first notes I played on it was the notes in the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind. The notes they played to communicate with the UFO.

lol...How sad is that. Although it was quite funny at the time as it got quite a reaction from the people in the store.

Hi Steve.
The 10 files are in RAR format. Think of them as Zip files, only far better in terms of compression.
To load the data into your KRONOS, you need to Extract them (unzip them) using whatever program you like that supports RAR files.
Just doing a quick search on Google, this seems to be a popular choice for the Mac
