I actually tested it using the usb connection with camera kit and i got audio from the usb port. I even played the kronos and midi was working but the whole app became unstable and somewhat laggy. I'm using the iPad version. An updated version is availabled since past weekend.

I got Sunrizer 2.0 installed on my iPad. What's your version?

What iPad are you using? Mine is first edition. Do you use 2nd or later?

It's 2.1 and I'm also using iPad 1st edition.

Mine is still 5.1

Maybe that's why I don't see any new version for me in the App store update screen?

Last version of sunrizer and ipad: no sound at all

So it is mine, i can't upgrade to 6.x because latest os available for iPad 1st gen is 5.1.1

I got the update On the us app store, but i gotta check it again and see if it wasn't rolled back to 2.0 and that's why you're not getting any updates

Just to confirm that it got updated on november 17 and it's version 2.1 in the american store, not sure why it's not showing up in european stores. There's two new banks to download from the web library as well.

Ok. I got confused and did not do this thoroughly.
The version in my iTunes library is 2.0 and the version on my iPad is 2.1
I did not synchronize both for some weeks. So 2.1 does not work with my Kronos.
Sunrizer accepts MIDI notes on channel #2 only but the sound over USB is totally distorted. Sounds like clipping to me. After a while my iPad gave no more sounds and had to be restarted, same with Addictive and Magellan.

keep us informed saxifraga, i didn't update yet, so i will delay that update till things are solved.

Glad to know you are experiencing the same thing as I do. Hope this get fixed soon. Another question that poped up my mind while testing it if my ipad has enough power to accomplish all this stuff.

Latest versions on iPad 3. You can hear sound now but
it's unusable. Crazy distortion. Went back to irig midi.
It's better but I won't use it live. Clipping on the delay.
And it stops working.

Garage band and alchemy are completely stable.

It's really too bad as Sunrizer has a great sonic quality to
it and its fast to get what you want.
Good enough that I'll keep trying.

Sunrizer got updated to version 3.0. Redesigned Interface and new features, I'm updating the app to check if it work with kronos now.

Update: It's finally working flawlessly on iPad 1st Gen and kronos.

Not to hijack this in any way...but to those of you using Magellan, have you noticed distortion through the Kronos?

All other synths are clean except this weird digital noise with Magellan.

And the new Sunrizer update is awesome!

I have it installed but I never used it. I'm going to test it when i get home and I'll let you know if I'm having the same issues you are reporting.

I have Magellan on iPad and iPad2. It's glitchy on the iPad, very stable on iPad2 but some patches distort under all the conditions I've tried, can't name specific patches offhand as it's not in front of me.

BTW for the geetar players here, if you haven't already bought this:

...check it out. It tracks my electric guitars very well even at the higher latency setting and controls Nave, Magellan, Thor and many others flawlessly (no pitch bend yet though). Oddly though, since the Sunrizer update, there's no audio when controlled by Guitar Synth.

Going to have to look into this one. Without pitchbend what does it do? Lock into the initial note? or on bending does it eventually jump to the next note?
