Kaos FX Depth-knob Changing volume Samples

Dear Kaosspad users, I have a problem with one of my pads:
The FX Depth knob affects the volume of my samples, also the recording of samples! It used to not do this. I don't know what happened and I need a solution!! Tnx for the help.

Are you on External mode by any chance?

try hold shift and 6,could very well be a setting in there.

Now wouldn't that be cool if you can switch the sample volume to be controlled by the effect knob instead of the slider. I would have been happy to have that feature.

Actually it's a documented feature.
page 13 of the Owner's Manual:
"Sample playback levels
If you want to adjust the sample playback volume for all banks, use the LEVEL slider"

Though I don't like it too

Has anyone figured out how to turn it off?
