Pa3X OS 1.62 Released

Thanks for responding to my question.

I use the VH but maybe not as extensively as you.
As I am about to get more deeply into VH options I am keen to see if I have the same problems.

The trouble with intermittent problems is that they are usually extremely hard to fix (if not, impossible) - you know the analogy - it's that classic "occasionally the car won't start" - the mechanic has a massive task in order to find the problem.

So, if I find anything I'll get back here and see if we can't get some sort of pattern as to what is happening.

please assist me in how to install 1.62
ive installed 1.60 before
simply loading the Pa3x_OS.pkg
however there is a factory reset v1.62
what do i need to do with this
does this get installed too

would someone please explain the procedure

Thanks Paolo. My Maxx settings were not lost - its just that I presumed that my default settings should be there automatically.
Assignables now saved at Performance 1.1 and all good.
Glenn - you dont need the factory reset file. Just follow the instructions included in the OS zip file.

Hi Glenn

All you need to do is an OS update as per the included instructions followed by the "Factory Restore" procedure
You will only use the Pa3X_OS.pkg file for this.

If however you want to perform a complete keyboard RESET (usually if you are encountering problems), then you use the large file Pa3X_RES.pkg.
This file will completely rest everything on the keyboard and also instal the latest OS 1.62.

You do one or the other, not both.
