Tempo Sync with MKXL with DAWs?

Hello , i got a CME VX5 linked to midi in to my Korg MKXL, my audio interface FA101 midi in to the VX5 ,and the MKXL midi in to the FA101, but the tempo from my DAW (ableton) doesn't affect the tempo of the MKXL, what will be the best way to link everything as I still want the mkxl to be slave of the VX5 as it's a 49 Keys and i got a lenght pedal connected to it, so it can master the MKXL?

I'm not sure what an MK-XL is, but are you trying to use it with a Kronos? If not, I'd suggest in the general synth forum.
