Kronos USB driver on Mac OS X 10.8.4

Post by kingtj »

I'm not sure if this was discussed elsewhere or not, but I just ran into a problem....

I use a Macbook Pro 17" (2010 model with a Core i7 CPU and 8GB of RAM, plus a 512GB SSD drive I put in it) for all of my audio work. I've been so busy with other things though, I haven't even tried recording with it for quite a while. I did, however, keep it patched up to date with the latest OS X updates.

Yesterday, I tried to record audio from the Kronos into a track in Garageband via USB audio, and all I got was scratchy, skipping, slightly distorted audio that sounded terrible.

I also own a Line 6 Pod Pro XT guitar processor, which does USB audio too. So I tried that out, and the sound from it records (or monitors) just fine.

I checked Korg's site to make sure I'm running the latest Kronos USB driver they offer, and I am. Has anyone else run into issues with it, with the the latest version of OS X Mountain Lion?
