D16xd D32xd durability and sound quality?

Post by DennyC »

I don't post over here very often, but I was wondering about the overall impressions owner/users have had with these 2 products. I'm not interested in the D3200 though. I would appreciate feedback on these 2 units as the possibility of obtaining one sounds potentially intriguing. :) :)

I've seen these units for sale and that means there has got to be some users of these recorders out there. Come on folks! :) :)

No, I don't particularly like talking to myself. Because...I already know what's coming. BTW, I think I am going to pick one up. :) :)

Picked one up...just arrived, I'm about to fire it up. Does anyone have the original disks that go with this unit? Surely I'm not the only one that owns one of these. :) :)

Congratulations! This is a great unit. The sound quality is top notch and recordings are super clean. Build quality is standard Korg: tough and durable.

I upgraded from a D1600 MkII and haven't regretted it once (especially since I bought the D16XD for the same price I sold the D1600 MkII for! :D). I've also installed the optional input expansion board so now I have a full 16-channels of input (and am thinking of buying the analog compressor board for channels 9-16, too--pretty cheap here). Anyway, any document, OS upgrade or other info would be found here:

Happy recording!

Thanks, I was already there having printed the manual and the o.s. update. I would like to know where to find the original system disk and the tutorial disk. Thanks for the response! :) :)
