Pa900 Keybed

Post by Bald Eagle »

How is the keybed action on the Pa900? Is it up there with the Kronos quality or more like the Krome? There are none in the stores near me to try out.

I like it and I'm used to fully weighted keys.

Sorry, can't compare to the other Korgs, but it feels really good to me as someone used to fully weighted keys and I'm having fun with the DNC effects (although pretty clumsy at doing it).

Compared to the Yamaha these keys have more resistance on landing. I had to change the touch setting to Soft 2 to get the same response I had from Yamaha s950.

I use a pretty lite touch.

The keybed is pretty good. Just enough resistance for a player to get some
really nice response from the DNC voices.
