Clicking when using with Midi

I am experiencing the fast attack,release clicking issue when using my miditribe modded monotribe. When using the internal sequencer it is not an issue only when triggering using external midi. It's making the monotribe less than useful in my DAW projects. If anyone knows a workaround i'd be grateful but in the absence of one does anyone know if the new Volca Bass has an adjustable attack time that would mean this issue is not an issue on this unit?
