damper\sustain pedal for microKorg XL ?

Post by mozizo »

im about to buy a microKorg XL but i see there is no Damper pedal jack.
its a let down cuz there are some elec piano and pad sounds that i whould like to sustain. for example play a chord with pad sound hold that sound with damper pedal, and play second keyboard meanwhile. is there a special damper pedal with midi or other option to connect damper to MicroKorg XL ?
(i dont want to connect my other midi keyboard for this cuz its not practical, and also dont want to put 3 stones on keys to make a chord )

There are MIDI pedals that you could use to connect for damper operation.
I'm not personally familiar with them but they do exist.

The Behringer FCB1010 is one option, but you can probably find something smaller.

Pedal on Microkorg

Post by paulovip »

For me is unacceptable Microkorg XL not having a dumper pedal jack. For me it is definitely a design flaw.

This should work, for adding a damper pedal to the MKXL...

in conjunction with a regular sustain-pedal style footswitch.
