I've spent the last 3 days trying to download these sax packs! 4 attempts crashed half way through! Finally was able to download both files but now I can't seem to unzip them... Tried to use both 'The Unarchiver' and 'izip' and neither work...

iZip says: An error occured whilst trying to extract one or more files...
The unarchiver just says that the file re corrupted...

Anyone encounter these problems and overcome them? Not sure I can be bothered downloading another 12 gig of content I can't use...

A month ago a friend came to visit me with these compressed files for help !
Obviously you have not downloaded all files as he did , you've missed the container zip file (with no partial name)
that can lead compression utility to unzip all other files ,and this file will be downloaded as the last one when downloading is complete !
FYI , I had used WinRar to accomplish the job as I can remember !
Also Opera next seems to be the better browser for such downloads !

Just a friendly advice to guys who shares Kronos HD stuff !
Please Do not just upload untouched commercial VSTi sounds & layers like NI Complete 5/7 that you're able to
disassemble using Kontakt sampler, retaining the same sample tags that NI has used !!!
At least re-sample them , or mention your true sources to people that you intent to share with !

None of these comments match any of my sound packs. All sounds have been carfully RESAMPLED from various sources, only using custom sample tags. Just to make this clear.

Nothing personal , I can distinguish users good intention for sharing , but I keep on
insisting on my advice 'cause I belong to dudes that can easily identify the digital
signature of "Various Sources" when not really resampled !
Not worth further discussion.

I didn´t take anything personal, don´t worry - Anyway I know how much days we spend in front of computers to realize these projects and the opposite of your allegations can be easily prooven, since the layer velocities in the sources are different from the ones which had been used here in the digital resampling process with ESC manual VSTi sampler, letting us wait for hours and hours while it plays every tone of the scale for several seconds and all this again and again at all custom defined velocity layers. Even the number of layers differ from the sources.

So, sorry to say that, but if you really think of yourself, that you are such a clever guy, who´s able to see behind the scenes, I just ask myself, why you haven´t noticed that ? - Please, don´t waste your breath and other users time on distributing this obvious kind of half knowledge - this is nothing what you can do just simply with an automatic format change from Kontakt or any other source to another format...

Of course, the resampled instruments still sound very similar or even almost the same to the sources, but isn´t that the sense of it all, is it ? "Really resampled" ? - Already this comment disqualifies, cause whether something is resampled or it is not, there´s nothing in between... Don't bother, I don´t even see the use of any further discussions...

It is an excellent job...for sure, Korg doesn't spend much time doing good woodwind or brass samples... it is a lack on this brand. This kind of works are very appreciated, at least for me!
This improve quality of music that Kronos con make!
I'm going to sample Colombian and Dominican percussion cos this is another hole on Korg "World Percussion".
If somebody wants to share anything else, including mods for this pack, it is welcome here (I think so)

I've just tried installing the sax pack 1 to my Kronos2. I'm getting the message ".ksc incomplete due to unknown exi's".
Is this because the Kronos2 library is numbered differently?
The .pcg files went in ok but no luck with userbank ksc's.
I'd love to get my hands on some more sax sounds, is there any hope for me with this soundset?

Unfortunately it's mostly in German (no offence to my German friends!)
Under the drop-down menu, "Unsere Leistungen" click on "Soundpacks fur Korg Kronos"...
Here you will find the 2 sax packs, but don't click on the download link; copy and paste it into your browser.
If you have a Kronos2 and manage to install it please let me know how you did it! See my post above, I managed to get the programmes but had no luck with the ksc's.
