check the AL-1 engine for this, i programmed all my dance sounds in this engine and they are comparable to the virus ti which i also have.anticipation wrote:I'm still struggling to get aggressive dance stabs in Kronos but I feel like no hopeI miss my triton while playing some songs /:( is there a way to get stabs like virus or korg tritons
ah didn't know you were new in the kronos worldanticipation wrote:thanks a lot for the replies
I will try them all !!! I'm new in this forum and Im watching some tutorial videos of you. Excited to try your suggestions as soon as possible !
It's not really my style, but you can get these kind of sounds with the polysix and the hd-1. The hd1 is the most easiest for these kind of sounds. Use the filter envelopes and AMS section for some of the sync sounds, for the goa like sounds attach the filter cutoff to the velocity and choose a karma pattern that uses different velocity values. Or attach a random lfo to it.anticipation wrote:This is the ''poor'' triton le with its 48MB PCM ROM :S

I wouldn't blame Korg or the Kronos for the presets. IMHO the selection depends on the musical period during release of the instrument and some assessment how to get as much as possible musicians satisfied. Let's call it main-stream like approach, to sell to as much as possible customers.anticipation wrote:This is the ''poor'' triton le with its 48MB PCM ROM :S
