So, why didn't you buy the right one for your needs in the first place and save yourself the losses in trading one for the other. :wink:

You JUST got that bad boy too, I learned keys on the organ so the 61 models dont bother me so much.

because I thought that 73 would suit my needs
BUT I ended to HATE RH3...
I the first one action was fine,
but had odd spacing and come out with cut-off problem;
I didnt like at all the next TWO I had after 2 substitutions;
the first substituted become very noisy soon,
I dont know the second, I changed as soon I had
the opportunity.

Having a little play on my Triton and I hate the keyed now. I love the Kronos 73 action, its classy.

I was just having a little fun posting about my hamlet like decision making.

On a gig a 61 and a controller would be great, if I were still doing club date gigs all the time I would have kept the 61.

But I just feel like I can be more expressive on a weighted action and more creative. When I look at the recording sequencing and jamming with this thing I will probably do better w the 73 at home.

In the contest between the 61 and 73 the winner is us. This keyboard sounds great.

Next I will start searching and posting for sound suggestions and checking out all the great instuctional vids

There are a lot of times when I wish I could afford a 61 key as well as my 73. They both have advantages over the other but since I'm primarily a piano player the weighted keyboard makes more sense to me. I actually really love the keyboard on the 73 key Kronos. I realize that some people don't but for my technique, I can make this baby dance and sing like a dream!

The only thing that I have trouble with is organ playing. I spoke to Jordan Rudess about playing organ on a piano keyboard and he said he has the same problems that I do. I guess that puts me in an elite group!
If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!
Gear: Kronos 73, Wavestation EX, Polysix, King Korg, Monotron and Monotron Duo, Minikorg, Moog Grandmother, my very old MiniKorg, 4 acoustic and 9 electric guitars, 1 Ibanez 5 string bass, a Steel guitar, a bunch of microphones, 2 pairs of studio monitors and other very cool toys, 1 wife and 4 cats and a lava lamp!
