Hello, I'm hoping for some help with a problem with my triton studio. Basically, the calibration of the lcd is off on the bottom half of the screen. The upper half seems to function ok, but the middle to bottom is off. For instance, to click an option, you have to click well below the button to get the right selection. The biggest problem is that navigation for bottom items is impossible because the selection is BELOW the screen.
I have tried the screen calibration method, but i can only select the upper left hand square. The bottom right square is inaccessible and I cannot calibrate it.
Is there a chance that there is a hardware connection problem, etc? Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.
Jamie

Hello.
This doesn't sound too good to be honest. All I can suggest is that you check around the edges of the screen to see if there is dirt under the plastic frame being pressed into the screen. A sheet of paper should slip between the mount and the screen allowing you to clean out anything trapped dirt.
Then try recalibrating again after that.
It's a long shot, but something that could fix the problem.
Regards.

m3 expanded touch screen problem
hi
you r right..this seems to be a commong problem with m3 because it uses the resistive touch screen technology which is old compared to the capacitive ones uses currently.. i also have this issue. my m3 developed touch issue within 3 months of purchase..in my case the upper portion wasnt working as i wasnt able to get the upper left square on for cal...
it is bad that korg is bringing out such an unreliable keyboard...since i dont have an authorised service centre here in south india, i decided to manage with the m3 editor where u can do most of the editing except the menu items which u could try using the enter and numerice keys..
if any of u know of any software where all functionality including the menu commands are covered pl let me know..
thks
