Not only have Korg released numerous updates since the release of the KRONOS, these updates have provided substantial - and genuinely useful - features. Well done Korg, let's hope they keep coming!

P.S. I worked on the project, including managing the US artists contributions, and evaluating/testing the spec. It was fun to be back working on a Korg project again

No 64bit Support for editor

Other than that, a good overall update… CX-3 seems pretty good now (although I always though it was perfectly usable before)
Agree, me too wanted to use the editor as a VST plugin in Cubase 64 bit.
Sad that we didn't get that now. :(

But the upgrade 2.1 looks nice, and new sounds are always welcomed! :D
+1

Disappointing! Thought this would have been addressed!

I also would like to use the VST plugin within Cubase 64bit! :( :(

A tip, while you are enjoying the live mute, remember that there's a copy IFX command which will allow you to have your most important programs sound similar if not exactly as when in program mode. It basically copies the used IFX to open IFX slots in the combination.

And remember.... 2 layered Polysix make wicked pads with very little polyphony loss!

Yeah, and I'm going to wait a couple of days more to make sure I don't hear of any bugs.

Does it matter which update is done first? Firmware or OS?

Nope. Well, it's not written in any of the manuals.

I went in order of downloading from KORG's website, so the OS got updated before the firmware on my KRONOS.

Sharp.

I seem to remember last time I downloaded something one of the thumb drives I had worked and the other didn't. No clue why but it had me going for a couple days. I have to get this update in though. I bought the Kronos #1 for the organs! Especially pipes! I won't turn down a good cx3! I wish you the best of luck with your ordeal! I think I might wait until morning myself to try, probably better off since it has been a very challenging day already.

Yea I know, my point is, I would never turn down a good cx3, this update sounds like some very good cx3 functions and sounds! I am hopeful! I always wanted the stage two or the nord c2 because of the organ, I went with the Kronos because ti had good organ and all the other engines as well, now my Nord lust might be completely fulfilled! I would certainly save a fortune, in the future, if that is the case!:D
