I brought in a midi file (loaded). I am trying to save the voices to korg's voices. It does it. The problem is when I write the file and bring everything back it is back to original midi file settings and voices. Also the first track is the drum track. When I first brought it in it was a piano track. I changed to 15/ Power kit 2 (E096). When I start the seq it switches to "11/E000, Union saw lead". Seems it writing a program change. How do I stop it from doing that? Looked at the pdf file and could not find it.
Is there a way to send file via this forum?

Re: imported midi file editing
It probably has Program Change information embedded in the midi file. You need to see if this is the case and either delete it or rewrite it.Wambli wrote:I brought in a midi file (loaded). You can find program change events on the Krome using the Sequencers Editor. First Go to the Track Edit page. The select the Event Edit command from the menu. This will take you to the Set Event Filters screen where you can select which event you want to see. Uncheck everything except Program Change and press OK.
That did it thanks. Is there a way to set this as default for future loading of midi files? Well back to more RTFMBald Eagle wrote:You can find program change events on the Krome using the Sequencers Editor. First Go to the Track Edit page. The select the Event Edit command from the menu.
