I've been using the KLC Wavestation in Logic Pro X in Mavericks all afternoon today, and haven't had any noticeable problems ... seems to be working fine, even while I've been doing some pretty heavy duty patch programming.

Well for me the new garage band does not recognize plugins including the Korg Legacy Collection. THAT IS THE ONLY REASON FOR UPGRADING TO OSX MAVERICKS - TO GET THE NEW GARAGE BAND.
However the the good things are :
You can install your older garage band which can run simultaneously with the new garage band.

Other Daws will recognize Korg legacy in OSX mavericks

The new garageband has new contents - some fresh sounds and sweet loops /beats.

I'm also having problems with the Korg Legacy Collection in the new version of Garageband in Mavericks.

When I try to load the AU, I get this error message:

"Failed to load Audio Unit, please contact the manufacturer for an updated version or further assistance.
(-10110)"

They seem to work fine in Ableton Live 9 Lite, also running in Mavericks.

So, I think it is something with Garageband.

I have heard some people say that the new Garageband cannot use AU's--this is incorrect. In Preferences, there is a checkbox that must be turned on to enable AU's. Also, the AU's are pretty well hidden in the new GUI. You have to first select an instrument track, then toggle Smart Controls (the icon in the top tool bar that looks like a knob), then in the Smart Controls pane, select the "i" icon. Then--the real trick--you might have to resize the Smart Controls pane by sliding it's top divider bar up a bit. Then, voila, you should see the Audio Units window magically appear in the lower left of the Smart Controls pane. You can select either instruments or effects from here. But, alas, the KLC ones don't work.

Hey,
I really wanted to upgrade to Mac os Maverick.. done backup but when i click instal i got messege that
KLC Authenticator wont work on new os.. So i would like to know if I should upgrade or not? I have got 2007 Korg legacy analog collection working just fine on my 10.6.8 snow leopard.

Iam playing MS-20 mini so the MS-20 softwere is really needed for me to work on new OS.

P.S. Would you suggest maby Mountain lion?
And if I install maverick and korg legacy collection wont work.. is there any way I can put my mac back (even with old os) with my full back up on external disk?

Thank you very much for advice. )

FWIW, I'm using the KLC-DE on Mavericks with no issues. Using Cubase 7.5 as my DAW, KLC-DE works fine as a plug-in or stand-alone.

Using KLC on Mavericks in Reaper, no problems.

Also didn't need to reactivate anything etc. while upgrading from 10.7 to 10.8 and now 10.9.
KLC MS-20 + MS-20 MIDI-Controller, Polysix, MonoPoly, Wavestation // DS-10 // monotribe, monotron delay / SQ-1 / Volca Beats, Volca Kick // iPad Pro 12.9: iMS-20, iElectribe, Gadget, iWavestation iDS-20 // DAW: Reaper, Tracktion, McMillen K-Mix
