Hardware Sequencers and the ms20 mini

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone had experience using the ehx step sequencer with the ms20 mini and how to hook it up. I'd like to know how to make it run in a continuos loop as well as only run when I depress a key as if it were an arpeggiator.
I had also seen one on Noisebug by Pittsburgh' and was wondering if anyone had tried either. Thanks and have a great Wednesday
