Loading files from Pa2x to Pa3x

I purchased Pa3x and wanted to transfer the Pa2x (.SET) to the Pa3x which includes arabic quarter notes and scales. When the Pa2x is powered up it starts with transpose at +5. When I loaded the Pa2x to the Pa3x it also now powers up with transpose +5. Doing so messed up the quarter notes. They are not consistent with the keys (for example when I want to put a quarter note on the E it plays on the B, so the keys on the screen have shifted). I am not sure how to adjust that.

It looks like the Global on the Pa2x was set to start on +5. I am trying to re-set it to 0 and do the process again and do not know how.

Any help is appreciated.

I think this is related to a setting in the globals. Go to the global menu in the general section. Go to the Transpose control section and check the setting for:

Position
Scale and Transpose Position

There are two settings:


Post-KB / Pre-Scale
Post KB & Scale

Whatever setting it is currently set at, you just switch it to the other one.

Save the Global settings. Turn the keyboard off and then on.

When the Pa2x is powered up it starts with transpose at +5. When I loaded the Pa2x to the Pa3x it also now powers up with transpose +5.

Power up setting usually relate directly to PERFORMANCE #1 in PERFORMANCE BANK #1 plus the GLOBAL lock settings.

Try changing the transpose to "0" and overwrite performance #1.

The transpose occurred when I downloaded the files from the Pa2x to Pa3x. It not intentional. Apparently the Pa2x which I did not own was set up to power up at +5.
