Mad Session band sale, all apps 99cents
These are done quite well and for .99 I just could not pass up session band rock edition if only to just use the drum tracks it is worth it. There are a crazy amount of loops in every key available all for .99 if you own an Ipad check it out. I'll let you all know how it is after I try this out after downloading. I doubt that this price will hold for more than a day or so, it could just be a black friday deal, I don't know.
I almost thought this was spam. Something to do with the subject line..

Lets just say I've been spoiled by korg and moog apps. Like I said its the UI of this app.
I also got Yamaha's tenori-e and wasn't even that pleased with that, either. There's really something to be said about Korg's apps, for instance. They feel more like instruments while other apps feel like just that, apps. I'm sure it has to do with the fact that they design their apps with performance in mind.

To be truthful and honest about this, session band does not portray itself as an instrument just as something like ims-20 from Korg is not a backing track app. If i want excellent apps for an instrument I have the ims-20 or Arturias ISEM. For backing drum tracks I have this, with some decent guitar tracks as a bonus I should add.
Session band piano edition is yet another excellent collection of backing tracks that are available for not much money. I like them myself to use for backing up some of my many instrument apps ,Waldorf Nave, Imini from Arturia, and of course one of the favorites of almost every one I've heard from, Sunrizer Synth made by Beepstreet.

I purchased Session Band Jazz 1, I haven't made any songs yet, but I love to listen to the different demos, they're very relaxing and and extremely well played. I don't know much about jazz but I would love to find songs that sound like this app, check out the demo video http://youtu.be/qrJ-dt2aZRY
