Tuning and callibrating the Global for hand use

Greets on the board from sun b, new b, looking forward to learning a lot here.

Followed wavedrummer's guide to the creation of a hangbell, YEAH, kl for that.

Wanted to ask if there's a thread here for tuning and callibrating the Wavedrum Global for hand-use as opposed to sticks. My biggest issue at the mo is that I find I can't get the rim to respond sufficiently without using a knuckle (ouch).
