Korg Kronos with Logic Pro X

Post by simur »

Hi,
is the actual editor fully compatible to use the Kronos as an AU plugin instruments with or the only way is to use as an external instruments?

I installed it but cannot find Kronos under the au instruments ... I thought that the new version was compatible with Logic X ...

I have read other treads but please tell me clearly if I am missing something or if I am wasting time because 64bit Logic is not compatible ...

Thanks

Plug in

You cannot use the plug in with 64bit applications. Only 32bit applications. Silly but true! You can use the editor on a stand alone basis but not within the 64bit application.

Plug in

Post by DavyP »

Yes this has been debated a lot in other threads for a while.

Dunno why it is not compatible with 64 bit applications?

Maybe financial as I believe that you can buy a full version of the editor from sound quest that allows the plug in to work in 64 bit software.

You could look at that? But will have to pay!

I will say depending on what you want to do, you can control an amazing amount of the Kronos through the environment in Logic.
So, there could be some work arounds.
