No sound output
The Krome 88 is not outputting any sound.
I exchanged cables, I switch mixer channels and cables and, while my second keyboard always output sound, the Krome is silent. I've been looking for an option to "reset" the keyboard and haven't found it yet. I also haven't seen/done any troubleshooting other than swapping cables and mixer inputs.
My Krome has never left the house, nor I never updated the software. It is basically in the original factory configuration.
Please, any help and/or recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Go to the global menu and see if the box at "local control" is on. It should be. It means the actual keys and buttons are controlling the sound engine (vs only using for instance a computer or other sequencer controlling the sound engine). Some computer based sequencers automatically send a "local off" command to connected synths upon boot (Sonar does this for instance).

Thanks. Local Control is ON.

Checked the Krome Users Guide and went through all of the steps for "No Sound" - didn't worked either. Finally, I decided to reset the whole system to factory conditions and voila, everything is now working.
Thanks to this forum and to all who replied to my question. I really appreciate your inputs.

Indeed very strange. I do have the suspicion that one of the output cables is getting a shortcut and as a result, the output stage is turning off for protection purposes. I know that I swapped the cables but, the system might have been (continued) in the "locked/protection" state.
Am I wrong? I don't know but this is the only thing I can think of.
Thanks again,
- Carlos.

I was wrong.
After some time, the sound just went away, gone. If I do a full system reset, the sound comes back temporarily and eventually, will go away.
I wrote an email to Korg - this is the first time and, I am now looking for a service center near my area.
