For more than 20 years now, I´m using these stands from Koenig & Meyer (former RUKA):

http://www.musicstore.de/de_DE/EUR/Ruka ... 000744-000

It´s cheap, it´s stable, and already had 6 Keyboards on one stand without ANY problem by using these extensions:

Already have several of these stands and never found anything more stable and more flexible on the market.
So if you are really looking for something professional: This is your choice !

It's a Solidstand Freedom Breakdown.
It has an electric motor which takes the deck up and down.
I have put three layers on it with Quiklok adjustable layers.
Built like a tank!!

I bought it from Guitar Center and it had a squiffy "arm" - which considering it had shipped US to UK was somewhat annoying!
When I complained they gave me my money back [$500!!!!!] and I got it re-welded for £25 ($38).

They stopped making them but I see they have restarted.

This looks pretty interesting. The website doesn't,t provide specs - do you know how much it weighs and how small it gets if you need to pack it up? And it is not sitting on wheels is it? It raises and lowers hydraulically - correct? Thank you!

It's rated for 300 pounds.

Unfortunately they don't make additional tiers for it. It collapses very easily and the locking mechanism is very strong. I paid $100 for mine at Long and McQuades music here in Toronto.

I have a second one that does have 2 tiers and I've had it for 20 years. I've done countless gigs with it but now since I only use my Kronos I use the single stand for gigs and the other stays set up in my studio.
Thanks Jeremykeys

I have a single stand similar to that but made by prostands. For the moment, it's doing alright but it's as others who responded when I made this post - a little rickety for the 88.
