Be cause OF all my problems with the SSD, I decided to open the Kronos and replace it. The operation was quite simple and successful and now I have a 120Gb SSD which seems faster.
While looking inside, I noticed that there is an unused USB port on the motherboard and I was wondering if that could be used for something: a permanent thumb drive? A wifi adapter?
Has anyone any idea if that port can be used?
Thanks

Yes, you can use the internal USB port. This is what I used to plug the WiFi router giving me wireless connexion between the Kronos and my PC. The only thing, you may have to remove the plastic side to access the USB port and plug something.

Re: Internal USB
Danatkorg said once on the original SSD is a hidden partition with calibration data that can not be copied by normal means. Did you think about that? Just wondering if your Kronos still works like before?.fabiotre wrote:Be cause OF all my problems with the SSD, I decided to open the Kronos and replace it.
