I was seriously considering taking STR-1 out of the Kronos startup, because the very last thing it delivers are great guitar (acoustic or electric) sounds.
You showed that this engine can be used well for other things, and without sounding stone cold, utterly artificial and digital in a negative sense. Now I will reconsider. You should regard that as a big compliment for a gifted sound designer!

Thank QR, that's awesome. You know I still haven't gotten a Kronos X88, possibly in the next month though. I will try this bank of yours first, as I am a big pipe organ fan. Tell me something QR, a while back I started a thread on whether the Kronos X functions as an USB audio interface like the Yamaha MOX can. Originally the answer was no. I have noticed however a lot of updates since then and was wondering if they changed that with software.
Right now my PC's audio is routed from the HDMI out of my video card (thanks to NVidia's HD Audio driver), to my Yamaha Receiver which has HDMI in. In this setup, everything I do on the PC can be heard through my speakers connected, and the TV speakers. How should I connect my KronosX to the PC,? USB? I don't have SPDIF in on the PC, and if I switch to onboard audio instead of the NVidia Driver, I will be stuck with an stereo 1/8" input on the back of the PC. What are my choices other than a third party USB/Audio interface.
I have tried ASIO4ALL and I got it to work really good with multitracking Omnisphere. The ultimate goal is to be able to hear the Kronos and all my PC sounds, and have at least the ability to edit the Kronos with the editor via the USB to host......argh! Sorry about the length post hope it's not confusing.

nothing has changed since that thread, for windows i still think that a dedicated audio card with ASIO drivers is a much better solution then trying to use the usb audio of the kronos on Windows Computers.
