Complicated Sampling question

Post by MRedZac »

Dear all,

I have following question:

I would need the Kronos to play back a backing file during a live gig. I want Kronos to stream it directly from the SSD and that it is loaded automatically each time, I boot the Kronos, that´s why I put the WAVE File into a Multisample, which is triggered by a pad. So far, so good, this works fine.

But what I would need now in addition is that Kronos would play back at the same time (and triggered by the same pad) a second WAVE File, containing the click for the backing file and route this to another output, like C+D. Is that possible ? - If yes, how ? - And if not, how would you solve this problem ? - Of course, I can load all this to the sequencer, but it will not be loaded automatically then, if I start Kronos and I fear forgetting to load it before the gigs... So, automatically loading is a major point for me...

Cheers

yes, that's rather easy to do, just set the note range of the sample to 1 note. So for instance:

Program 1 HD-1: Note range C1 = Backing track
Program 2 HD-1: Note range D1 = Click track
Now if you want to activate them both at the same time add note C1 and D1 to a pad and when you press that pad both will play in sync.

By using 2 separate programs you can choose which output for each sample you use.

Yep qui that answer was perfect. The only addition I'd like to make is that if he would use a drum program for the sames he could use one program and still route the different keys to different outputs.
