HI ALL,
I am just in he process of either buying a pa 600 bran new, or a pa 800 second hand, both in around the same price, could anyone please advise me on which is the better keyboard, I know that the pa 800 is older and the pa 600 newer, but I have seen some reviews that say that the pa 600 keys are very plasticy to play and sort of cheap, but I do like the black look of the pa 600 and not mad about the blue colour of the pa 800 but sort of prefer the older layout of the pa800 as I already have a pa 60, would anyone be able to advise on the sound quality of both and which is better, also the pa 800 has 4 volume sliders where as the pa 600 only has 2 and only 2 outputs where as the pa 800 has 4 outputs, which would the best sounding instrument and th best value for money, I also notice that the mains lead for the pa 600 has a thin 2 core flex which could maybe break or get damaged easyily,
Any help greatly appreciated,
NEWBIE HELP PLEASE, PA 600 OR PA 800 WHICH IS THE BETTER BUY

Since no one has answered this I'll take a stab...
I would probably go with the Pa-600...much cheaper new and has newer operating system, new features...great bang for the buck. As far as specifics maybe someone else could chime in. Also there is the Pa-900 if you need the vocal capabilities. Personally I would go for the Pa-600 with one of the Voice Live effects processors from TC. It will give you better vocals and the flexibility to record the harmony tracks in multi-track fashion...should you wish to do that on top of being stellar for live use. The new Voice Live 3 looks amazing...
Hopefully this helps a little (btw...I own the Pa-600...great sounds and styles for the money)
God bless

Hi,
Many thanks for your helpful reply, I actually purchased the pa600 last week and am very pleased with it, I do feel the keys a bit springy, and light but maybe with a bit of use they will be ok, it does defintely seem good value for the money and does look very like the pa 900 without the vocaliser, which I have on the Roland anyway, if there are any sounds or styles that in your mind stand out, you might let me know, I think its possible somehow to load new sounds onto the pa600 I presume that these have to be purchased from Korg? I'm not too sure i probably have enough to work with for the moment anyway.
Thanks again for replying.
