Wow 2 posts, does this mean zero interest in the kit?

Seems a very quiet forum nowadays.

I was interested at first. But it's really just a limited edition assembly required novelty. They should have just released a full sized and fully assembled MS20 in the first place. This is now the second time they have screwed up the re-issue of a perfectly good synth.

But who knows, I may end up getting one.

Korg's been doing this a lot lately - monotrons and then the monotribe, m20, reissues of the microkorg, kp3 and kpro + versions...That's why I'm holding off from the Volcas. I'm thinking an expanded or pro version might be coming out later this year.

I would definitely be interested in a full size ms-20. Kit or not, but I don't see the justification for the $1300 price tag, especially since they set the bar with the mini at $600.

There is/was another thread about it:

I think it would be good to see and try the assembled kit (look, feel, quality, sound etc.) before buying it. A demo unit should be available in every store.

The most attractive feature is the knobs are all fixed to the front panel. I am getting sick of wobbly knobs.

I would've been all over this if I didn't already have the mini which I'm already recording and gigging with.
If something happened to my mini, if the prices was a little lower, and the availability a bit higher, I'd be into this.
As it is though, my synth purchase priorties for this year are a volca bass and getting started on my dotcom system.
I love the idea of this though.

I thought I was interested until I saw the price. Too expensive, basically inaccessible to the enthusiast who is on a budget. Just get the mini and be done with it.
