Low/High Gain EQ frequencies

Post by Zeroesque »

The last block of the master effects of any program, combi or sequence on the Trinity is a Low/High EQ. I'm guessing this is a shelving EQ but my question is: Anyone have a good guess as to what center frequencies they use for these? 250Hz/4.5kHz? 100Hz/10kHz?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

alway wondered the same thing, i guessed it to be like 100/5 or 5.2k, i might be wrong though. 250 hz is too high i guess.

For some reason I seem to remember that it was documented somewhere. Have you already checked this in the parameter guide or the effects guide?

Just checked through all the manuals I have, basic/quickstarts, parameter guides, effects, specifications and the diagrams showing signal flow, and while it mentions the gain control of the Low and High EQ allow adjustments in units of dB up to +/-18dB, nowhere does it state the frequencies.

Just says:
A Low/High-type shelving EQ is located before the output connectors 1/L/MONO and 2/R, and allows you to “fine-tune” the tone of your sound.

Master EQ:
A Low Gain and Hi Gain equalizer can be applied to the signal that is output from the 1/L/MONO and 2/R output jacks.

Low Gain: adjusts the low frequency range
Hi Gain: adjusts the high frequency range.
I even ran searches in the PDFs using the search query "Hz" to double check to see if anything was referenced, but nothing.
