MIDI foot controler for accordionist using the PA600,900,3x

Post by duo-musette »

Hello accordionists

Here is the last little accessory that I just realized for PA600 , Pa900 or PA3X .

It is a MIDI pedal intended primarily for accordionists.

24 foot switches have been implemented to control 24 basic functions of a MIDI keyboard Pa.

- Start / Stop
- Variation 1
- Variation 2
- Variation 3
- Variation 4
- " Set " Mode
- Intro ( one intro to choose from 3)
- Fill 1
- Fill 2
- Fill 3
- Fill 4
- Break
- Ending ( one ending in a choice of 3 )
- STS 1
- STS 2
- STS 3
- STS 4
- Volume - right hand accordion
- Volume + right hand accordion

Five specific functions (not Pa) are established to control the sequencer well known and highly efficient VanBasco Karaoke.

- Lyrics full screen 15-inch LCD
- Play sequencer
- Stop the sequencer
- Decrease the tempo (Tempo -)
- Increasing the tempo (Tempo +)

The electronic part was performed using two microcontrollers from Microchip PIC 16F628A ($ 3 each) .
For programming the PICs , I received a helping hand of Rémy MALLARD who is a leading expert in the field.

The picture below gives an example of what can be achieved.
