hard drive
Hi I would like to fit a hard drive to my pa3x 61notes keyboard. I have a hard drive but do I need any more parts before I start.
Many thanks Bill.
Many thanks Bill.
A "hard drive", as in a traditional drive that spins ?
Not such a good idea in my opinion. Your far better off installing a SATA2 SSD as it has no moving parts and vibration from banging the keys or transport makes almost no difference to them, unlike traditional hard drives.
Either way, you need to purchase a KORG mounting Kit.

Re: hard drive
Nope, it won't work. That drive has the old type IDE interface on it which is pretty much discontinued these days.golfer wrote:I have a hard drive from my old tyros2 it is a Hitachi model DK23DA-20F not sure if it will work in a Korg.
The Pa3X uses the current SATA interface. So you need a SATA Drive and the Mounting Kit.
