What songs should a band never play?
This is more for amusement here than a real question, but over the years I've had to play some simply dreadful songs that don't go over at all.
So what songs do you all think a band should never play?

I'm an old hard rocker so for me it would be any "girl pop" but that's only because I AM an old hard rocker!

i would answer this question in a different way.
you shouldn't play anything that isn't music to your audience's ears!

I think you shouldn't play anything that your heart's not into. I'm just an old rocker. I have a lot of trouble getting into most of the pop music from the last few decades. Mind you, even a lot of the classic rock bores me to death but that could be just because I have to listen to it every day at work.

I used to play in a local "pub rock/functions" band, where I probably loved 50% of the songs (the rockier ones), and felt the rest were cheese (but they got bums off of seats).
I realised I had to get out of the band when I was outvoted and had to learn to play "Amarillo" when it hit the charts in 2005 (Peter Kaye has a lot to answer for)! I HATED it with a vengeance.
I started a progressive rock band shortly after that!
I swore I would never play cheese again....
