Hello,
Do you guys know if it is possible to work as constant velocity on the Kronos?
I want to record some sounds and I want them to have exactly the same audio levels.
Cheers

It depends on which EXi is used for the program - not all allow it. But in HD-1 for instance, 4th tab from the left "amp/EQ", amp1 EG and Amp2 EG, level modulation. On the AL-1 engine, EX1, Amp/Driver, Level modulation. On the polysix engine, EXi 1, Mod & Arp, source 1 (if set to velocity), turn VCA gain knob to zero. MS-20 engine, EXi 1, EG, level modulation. MOD 7 is a bit more complicated, but the most likely place would be as the others EXi, amp & mixer, amp mod, level modulation. CX3 already doesn't respond to velocity. Piano and EP you can't modify to my knowledge.

For me, the best way to record with "fixed velocity" is, to record Kronos (or any keyboard) like external midi device. Connect Kronos via usb with your computer. In software like Nuendo, Cubase, Logic... Open midi track. On input choose "all midi inputs" on output put Kronos. Connect Kronos through analog outputs to analog inputs. Open one midi and one stereo track. Record midi (listen through stereo audio channel) edit it like you want (fixed velocity...) select recording on audio track, return it, and thats it!
