I don't know how many of you listen to Sonic Talk; it's a weekly program from SonicState.com that has a few synth-heads who talk about the latest gadgets, synthesizers, music software, etc. This week one of their topics was on Sampling the Sampler. There is a company that recently started selling a Kontakt program that emulates the Roland D-50 but appears to re-sample the PCM samples from a D-50. The panel debates the legality of doing this. Worth a listen.
