mini kaoss pad 2 as cdj

Post by mp3destroyedcd »

Hi, I'm dj and producer for hobbie . I want to change my hercules dj midi for another method. It goes well but i like to change my dj tools for something different.
I have an old analog mixer but i bought the midi controller because i was searching turntables for the mixer but it wasn't cheaper. So, i was looking for used cdj or something like this but i found the mini pad 2 kaoss.
I saw that it has an mp3 player function inside. SO my question is:
Can I use the kaoss pad mini 2 like a cdj player, where i can change the bpm of track and aplicate some filters or effects with the same unit?

My idea of the configuration is: Pad A in Line 1---Mixer--- Pad B in Line2

And of course i will use the effects freatures for another things
Thank you

it will not give you the flexibility you need as a DJ...from what I understand, you would have to stop tracks to switch tracks, and there is not a beat stretching function that works well enough to DJ with.

ok, that's fine, but you will get the same or better functionality out of using two ipods or mp3 players.
