Hey Joe, are you the famous Joe Gerardi that teamed up with Mike Lavoi some years ago ?
Don't think so. I've been called a lot of thing, but never "Famous."

And I don't think I've ever met anyone named Mike Lavoi, but at my age, I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday...

Kompozer,

It's strictly a personal choice that dovetails with your own method of working.

If you get to the point where you need to bring in new sounds that you don't have on the Kronos to a composition or layer them in the recoding process, you might find that multiple keyboards can be useful if you are not using a DAW.

Everyone works in his own way, what works for you now may not work for me. By the same token, what works for me may not work for you.

I have an expanded Z1, ESX1, EMX1 and a Wavedrum along-side my 61 key Kronos.

The ESX and EMX don't get a lot of use at the minute, but might have more room for them when I (hopefully) move house.

In the past, I've also had an 88 key Trinity and a 61 key Triton Extreme. Also had 2 Prophecys at different times, but the extremely low-gain outputs were always an annoying niggle. I can get close to the Prophecy sound using my Z1, so I couldn't justify keeping Z1 and Prophecy.

I do have a whole load more kit from other manufacturers though.
