I love this app. Only request I have is really really modest: make the rotary knobs snap to their zero-point. Would save me a bit of fiddling...

I think the idea of landscape would work well (at least in mixer mode) if when rotated the faders disappeared and became just a pot with shortened meter. Be handy to view more tracks on screen at once too.

Id like the abilty to expand the mixer page as the faders are too short for my fat fingers...try to make small adjustments are impossible for me

Showing the current volume level db would help too so I know what value im starting at.

Me again lol

Ive notice that freezing isnt as efficient as audio tracks, yet the frozen track is audio in the freeze folder.

When transferring the stems to auria i notice the cpu usage is halved. My ipad3 stutters on 12 frozen tracks yet these only hit 61% (with fx) in auria.

Is there anyway of completely removing the gadget temporarily once its frozen in a future update?

A channel EQ would be welcome too ;)

Meta-arranging of clips. Such that you can have group clips to play together in a sequence - perhaps the 'function' button could have a 'repeat from here' or 'coda' option. And then you could jump between groups of clips.
Also naming of clips and sections - everything, really.

Realistic, scalable KEYS, as featured in FL Studio Mobile.

I would prefer to move around the sequencer grid by 'holding' an empty area with ONE finger. Hate the awkward two finger thing.

Sample import, at least, with simple/limited trim functions.

Simple way to return control to zero/original value.
Is est quis is est.

Sorry, but my first post here is going to be a complaint.

Ok, I've been using Gadget for a bit now and it really is an amazing app and would be a serious tool in any music producers arsenal if it wasn't for the fact it was locked in portrait mode.

Being locked in portraits mode effectively prevents me from using it on the go - I now use Caustic or garageband to put down ideas on the move - I don't want to as the sounds from gadget are amazing and exactly what I need.

It's so frustrating when I've got something going in Gadget and I have an idea on the train, launch gadget only to find that I have to hold it in one hand and then try to do my best with the other hand on the tiny keyboard - it doesn't work.

If you look at all he cases for the iPad than you'll realise that none of them support the iPad in portrait mode. Why then design an iPad app that can only be used in portrait mode - nobody uses and iPad in portrait mode except for reading.

Truly I don't need to see the sequencer and the synth on screen at the same time - I'm either patching the synth or sequencing.

I really want to use Gadget on the move, but the portrait only mode has effectively nixed that.

Please Korg, give us a landscape mode

I know Korg probably doesn't read these forums, but I just needed to vent - something so good and relatively expensive as an app shouldn't be limited in such a basic way.

Rant over

I must be the only one who really appreciates the portrait mode. I really prefer it over landscape.. Especially on my iPad mini which I always bring with me while travelling.. I rarely have it in landscape for any app as it makes much more sense that way ergonomically (hold it in one hand, control it with the other).. It's refreshing to finallyhave a serious music app that supports this paradigm.

programmable / recordable Program Change

it would be very Korg (=innovative) to add this parameter to the allready existing one's, and let the kids that want it freaky play with that too!

good day :)

Really wish Gadget had virtual midi. You can do some things with the keyboard in Gadget, but you can do a lot more with the midi controller apps that are out there.

Looks like this has already been submitted at the zendesk customer support site, so hopefully they add it in the next update.

At least 200 presets per gadget.
A randomize button for each gadget.
An undo last action ( easy to touch something by accident! )
Multi midi channel operation.
A vast midi phrase library to choose from and insert into track ( perhaps all the old korg electribe midi track patterns).
Sample import.
At least 2 seperate fx chains per gadget.
Loop remix function.
Copy and paste midi from one project to another??
file sharing???
Then I'll buy a new ipad to cope with it!!
