Its been 3 years since the launch of the Kronos
I doubt KORG are gonna start creating ADVANCED-TUTORIALS now.
i have a feeling that there aren't many people interested in advanced tutorials for the kronos, so i don't think it's worth the amount of work. Furthermore i agree with your previous statement, advanced tutorials are quite subjective.
If you ask 10 people what would be an example of an advanced tutorial, i think you would get 10 different answers.
I purchased the Sudosonic Kronos tutorial DVD. Parts of it are very good, parts of it (the section covering Chord Tabs, for example) are weak. I've watched the Chord Tabs section several times and still have no idea what he's trying to convey.
Qui is absolutely right when he says that 10 different people will want 10 different videos. Some oft he engines in my Kronos I haven't even touched yet. Mod 7 for example. It looks like it can do a huge amount of magical things but frankly, it looks terrifying.
If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!
Gear: Kronos 73, Wavestation EX, Polysix, King Korg, Monotron and Monotron Duo, Minikorg, Moog Grandmother, my very old MiniKorg, 4 acoustic and 9 electric guitars, 1 Ibanez 5 string bass, a Steel guitar, a bunch of microphones, 2 pairs of studio monitors and other very cool toys, 1 wife and 4 cats and a lava lamp!
Qui FWIW I am interested in any video you put out! Beginner Advanced twisted bizarre lol
They have all helped even when I was not sure of what was going on because of lack of basic terms and knowledge they got me moving in the right direction. Thanks!
I really knew zero about anything synth or midi related and what was very easy for others to comprehend was Greek to me! Respect and Grtatitude to you and every one helping others on this board!

I agree about the Mod 7. Terrifying, but probably the most capable engine of diverse and just killer sounds. I just wish I had the time to dig into it because IMHO it is the unsung hero of all the other engines.

Try working through the MOD-7 tutorials in the Parameter Guide! I spent a while doing about 10 pages of step-by-step walkthroughs.

Eventually I hope to. I never realized they existed. way back in the dark ages, just after electricity was invented, I actually spent a lot of time with my old DX-7 and beleive it or not, did do some programming on it. Very time consuming though what with the tiny little screen.
Eventually, when I have time I plan on getting down to the nitty gritty of my Kronos. The possibilities for sound construction really are endless.
I like sounds that evolve and that is something that I know I can get out of my Kronos.
