Korg Taktile

Post by Blankman8503 »

I was wondering if anyone has a Tactile and could answer a couple of questions for me. I am looking to replace my K61 and am looking at the Taktile. One of the major reasons I am moving away from the K61 is that I have to use the editor software to change the MIDI Channel that is being sent. Can I change the MIDI Channel being sent by the Taktile from the Keyboard itself. The other thing I have noticed looking at the controller is it doesn't seem to have an option for DC power. Is this true? If so it will drop it from the running for me. While all of my solo work has a computer involved, I have been jamming with a friend using only analogue gear (and the computer solely for changing MIDI Channels on the K61) and the need to have a computer plugged in to power the Taktile would undermine my goal of having no computer involved in this project.

I found out an answer to the first question. You can charge the taktile via USB with the right USB charger plug.
