Hello guys. This is my first post. I bought a Kronos at Xmas. I managed to convert the imperfect samples fazioli grand piano to the korg kronos. It uses the 8 velocity one.
I achieved this by using kontakt to convert the supplied samples into a usable file. Then converted this into .sf2. Then uploaded it to the kronos.
The sound is not bad. I'm not very good at assigning the samples to each velocity but it works just needs some fine tuning.
I do prefer the original kronos pianos though.
I hope to upload some audio clips when I can.
cheers

I have uploaded two piano pieces on soundcloud. Each piece is played with the kronos default german grand and the Fazioli Ebony Concert Grand Mic 3.

I'm waiting for your audio example , I was thinking about converting that too ))
actually you can bypass velocity limitations by converting
all the existing layers as separate kronos compatible patches (5-6 layers per each), adjust the velocity mapping in kronos and then combine them together in a combi mode ))
