Kork 01/W replacing keys

Post by satguy54 »

Hello.

I bought a Korg 01/w to repair and removed some broken keys. When I went to look for replacement keys, there appears to be a difference with regard to the key, A D F etc. I thought the keys are all the same. Can someone please clarify as I have 2 keys removed that are not damaged but not sure where on the keyboard I removed them.

Thanks.

All the black keys are the same.

As to the white keys...
C and F are the same
B and E are the same
A, D, and G differ, according to the Service Manual, as do E' and G'

I suggest that you do a Google search, the SM is available online.

See if there's identification molded into each key.

That's great, thanks. I cleaned the keys last night and found the letters on the rear of the key. Your link has solved the rest.
Appreciated,
