Partly sarcastic. Partly serious.
They've made such an aggressive campaign on the engineering side to analog, the "old Korg" -- the stuff we really love. MS-20, Volca, ARP, RK-100s, and what have you. So instead of continuing matching the drapes with the carpet, if you will, their marketing went "modern." K-Mart modern, not "Flying-Cars to Jupiter" modern. Because Flying-Cars to Jupiter would have been cool. K-Mart, on the other hand way too mainstream.
They're hitting on all cylinders for all other phases, so the lack of visual "quality control" makes this ironically painful. A lack of continuity in the brand. And yes, it drives me nuts. Why go 98% when you could get the whole 100% right? Wish I wasn't OCD, but the remaining 2% makes me want to lose it. #curseoftheperfectionist
Make the branding match the gear, KORG. Stop being ironic. Be hip. Do it.

True. Hardly worth losing sleep over. It's just dumb. First logo change in 50 years. WHY, KORG. WHY the best LOGO? It was the best. Someone should get fired over there for over-tinkering. Mr. Katoh would not approve. I'm just ranting like a wild banshee. Don't mind me. Cheers.

You mean, DCO. You strike me as the kind to prefer DCO's over VCO's. I may be mistaken.kenackr wrote:Lamu,
If you were truly OCD, you'd spell it the proper way, like it is supposed to be: CDO. Hell, everyone knows that!
