Recover a deleted set from pa3x

anyone tryed to recover a deleted set from your keyboard?

If "Yes" which program did you use?

What side effects may it occur to the keyboard to reload a recovered set.

I suppose that you haven't any older copy saved in any external media !

Well , this is an extremely difficult job to be done but not impossible .
Dos system doesn't have a Recycle Bin structure so when a file is deleted then this file index is unidentified !
So the suggested recovery steps are :
- Uninstall main Pa3X HD/SSD , connect it into a computer , and use a pro recovery utility as win R-Studio or
Stellar Phoenix Data Recovery in Deleted Recovery mode.
- The major problem is that deleted files have no indexes (names) , so you have to search among single KSF/KFC files
with no names , then you have to recreate the whole SET's file names and always taking for granted that you had
stopped writing activity to HD , due to prevent overwriting those files .
- This kind of recovery will be titan in difficulty if many SETs have been deleted in this HD since you will be confused
of what file belongs to what SET , and what file is also in readable condition !

As concerned to if this can harm your Pa3X , I do not thing so , if a file is corrupted or if a KSF file is not the proper one then
messages like "this is not Pa file" or "not all sound are loaded" will appear !

Wow, this is good to know as I accidentally deleted a SET file, was wondering if there is a way to recover it.

Can I just add, am I right by saying you would probably spend a good few days on trial and error of creating the lost SET file ? As you would have to load it and experiment with it and try to remember if the SET sound correct? 'Cause you probably could, for example, add a different sound bank to the SET ?

And is there a topic on how to remove the hard drive of pa3x? Never tried opening the pa3x.

It could be nice if you could find the whole Sound1-4 Banks ,but unfortunately only single files can be recovered in
a row data recovery not whole directories , so you have to practice your puzzle abilities in thousands of "unknown" name files !

What would I have to use to connect the hdd of the pa3x to my laptop? I am assuming the pa3x has a standard 2.5 inch sata drive? In that case would a enclosure do the job?
