run out of sdd space , second drive ?

Post by kineticsoundprism »

Hi guys , just run out of space on the 60gn drive in the Kronos x i have and so i either have to upgrade the 60 to a 120 or add a second ? the thing is i dont want to mess up the user sample references etc so whats the easy solution ? can i install a second 120gb sdd drive and then copy the entire contents of the first to the second and then swap them over ?

Do you need all of that 60 gb stuff on your disk at the same time? Why don't you connect an external disk drive or high capacity USB flash and backup your stuff and make room to work with?

Install a second and just leave it? It's a lot easier than actually swapping the OS disk.
