New adapter lets you plug std gooseneck into microKORG

Post by rh2y »

Hi, all... Been a long time MK user since my wife bought me one for my birthday nearly 10 years ago. It is my go-to synth when I have a patch idea and need to quickly make a new sound. A friend of mine mentioned this forum; not sure how I missed it before!

Anyway, I had this idea in my head for a while to make an adapter that lets you use a standard mic gooseneck in the cross-shaped hole in the microKORG that normally accepts the factory mic. That way, you can use any mic directly on the MK, without needing a mic stand to hold it -- it now plugs in where the factory mic fits. If you gig with your MK and use an aftermarket mic, this adapter makes your setup a whole lot simpler, and cleaner looking, too.

I've done some development work on this idea, and finally have them available for sale.

See http://www.evatontechnologies.com/mkadapter for some photos and description.

If you are going to Summer NAMM 2014 in Nashville, you can stop by the EurekaSound booth in Exhibit Hall A, Booth 634, and see an MKAdapter on display there.

I don't have a MicroKorg, but I just saw this and wanted to say it's a great idea and product. Hope it takes off for you.
